The Unknown Solar System appears in Metroid Prime 3: Corruption and is where the Pirate Homeworld is located. After Samus Aran cleanses Elysia of its Leviathan, Aurora Unit 242 contacts her with the information that she needs to get to the homeworld, in the Unknown Solar System. The Solar System also holds the Leviathan Battleship in orbit around the homeworld and the G.F.S. Olympus when the time comes to open the wormhole to Phaaze.
