Jessip is the healer at The Empath of Empath Abbey during the time of Ultima V. Like all shop owners, he had only little dialogue in the game. However, his is more fleshed out in the Lazarus version of the game. Here, he treats the wound that Shamino got from the dark arrow of the Shadowlords. Jessip went on to talk about the political situation in Britannia, and how Blackthorn had forbidden resurrections. Jessip was especially angry about the last point, since in made his work much harder than normal and had already forever destroyed numerous lives.
