RuneScape Certifications LLP is a company run by Niles, Miles, and Giles. It is known to be responsible for handling the certification of items. The company is required by law (mandated by the Seers' Village High Court) to have an outside party witness bear witness to their identification of items; this process is meant to minimise the number of false ownership claims in any dispute by catching them early. Before the removal of random events, the player was often the witness by participating in the certer random event.
