The alpharas flower was a rare variety of flower that bloomed only once every one hundred years, and they could be found only on a small island in the middle of the Alkaline Sea on the planet Durace. At some point during galactic history, an individual contracted a rare disease that could be cured by the alpharas flower, and a group of the individual's associates subsequently traveled to Durace in search of the flowers.
