The Jor-El A.I. is an artificial intelligence construct built by Jor-El in his own image for the purpose of fostering his son Kal-El on Earth after his planet's imminent demise. The A.I. is an advanced Kryptonian computer program with the ability to interact with, and sometimes affect, the real world. The program often manifests as a visual hologram in The Fortress of Solitude, but in some cases (such as in the Smallville TV series) only as a voice. "He will not be alone.
