NGC 5078 is a galaxy that is visible form Earth in the Hydra constellation. During the Borg Invasion of 2381, the USS Aventine and USS Enterprise-E investigated a series of subspace tunnels centralized in the Azure Nebula. One of the tunnels exited the Aventine into the intergalactic void nine hundred eighty-two thousand light years from NGC 5078. (ST - Destiny novel: Mere Mortals)
