A vibro-cutter was a heavy cutting implement that much like a vibroblade, utilized an vibration cell to create ultrasonic vibrations enabling it to cut with the slightest touch. Although vibro-cutters were manufactured with industrial needs in mind, they were at times used as weapons. The Fastcutter was one common brand of vibro-cutter. The tool was used for carving asteroid rock, such as could be found at the Peragus Mining Facility.
