The Battle of New Cádiz was a brutal nine-way battle between the shadowy cabal known as the Demiurge, the Office of Naval Intelligence, the Sangheili Republic's Justiciars, the Crusaders, the Syndicate and their Knights, the reformed Black Lance, The Assembly and the Devas freedom fighters. During the course of the frantic battle, the city of New Cádiz was laid to waste. The entire battle was triggered by a single assassin, whose trail of destruction had gathered the attention of some of the most dangerous individuals in the galaxy.
