Remember Derra Squadron was a starfighter squadron that served in the New Republic Starfighter Corps flying BTL-S3 Y-wing starfighters. The squadron was named in remembrance of the Battle of Derra IV, during which a Rebel Alliance convoy bearing weapons and supplies meant for the new Echo Base on Hoth was massacred by an Imperial task force which included the 181st Imperial Fighter Wing.
