Peril has unusually bright metallic-orange copper-colored scales with smoke rising from them, and veins of gold running through her glimmering copper wings. She has eagle-sharp, eerie, startling blue eyes, like two small blue flames blazing, or like "someone had bundled up the sky and immersed it in fire until it burned from the inside" as described by Glory. She was also noted to have a long tail and sharp, white teeth.
