Soundwave was one of first members of the Decepticons. He, Megatron, and Ravage started the war on Cybertron. He had helped in succeeding in the killing of Zeta Prime. After killing Zeta, heinfiltrated the Autobot Mini-Con Council and promised Ravage, Ratbat, Lazerbeak, Rumble, Frenzy, Space Case, Buzzsaw, Overkill, Slugfest, Beastbox, Wingthing, and Squawktalk upgrades, a new, massive Mini-Con Tower that held their prisoners and comrades, all in return for being his minions. After the war had devastated Cybertron, the Decepticons followed and attacked the Autobot ship Ark. The ship had fell into Earth's gravitational pull, sending all spiral into chaos and fell into stasis for four million years.
