The Saoud bin Abdulrahman Stadium, also known as Al-Wakrah Stadium, is a stadium located in the city of Al Wakrah, 18 kilometers away from the capital Doha, in Qatar. It's the current stadium of the club Al-Wakrah Sport Club. The stadium will be renovated and expanded to get a total capacity of around 40,000 to 45,000. It'll be part of a bigger sports complex. It's planned to host some group matches and match of the round of 16 on the 2022 FIFA World Cup. After the tournament the total capacity will be reduced.
