SWCS (Star Wars Combat System) was a free combat meter which is now obsolete. Its use was controversial at the time of its use because it was alleged to have been created from a hacked copy of the established RCS. Accordingly, it was never really adopted by any SWRP sim but tended to be used by new players before they could buy RCS.
