Role spy is a variation of spying where the actor targets a player and learns that player's role. The Role Spy is the heart of game theory and is the most basic form of information gathering. Compared to other variants, a spy that learns the role of his target is usually the most powerful. In many cases, after learning the role of a player, a spy may be able to deduce the faction, target, and action of the player that he spied. Additionally, a role spy who has BTSC with a player who has a RID Kill, RID Recruit, or RID Lynch Save adds overwhelming power to the group.
