Captain is a title on Mistmantle of the second-highest ranking officials, one step below the Royal Family. They are the highest ranking official that has to work to get where they are, so in other words, no one is born with a right to the title of captain. There are usually three at one time, though they elude there can be more in book 4. Their uniforms consist of a circlet, robe and a captains' sword. Famous Captains include Padra, Arran, Husk, Crispin, Lugg, Urchin and Docken.
