The Winkler Flyers are a Canadian Junior A ice hockey team from Winkler, Manitoba. They are members of the Manitoba Junior Hockey League (MJHL), a part of the Canadian Junior Hockey League and Hockey Canada. The Flyers entered the MJHL as an expansion team for the 1980-81 season. The team is community owned. In 1992, the Flyers came close to winning a National Championship, losing in the final of the Centennial Cup. see Flyers History
