In 38 BBY, a spaceport official named Den Drumb was approached by Jaws regarding an illegal shipment of weapons. Drumb refused to allow it through his spaceport, but Jaws did it anyway. Drumb, attempting to stop Jaws, followed him to the other side of Obsidian City. Drumb never returned. The next day, Qui-Gon Jinn and his padawan Obi-Wan Kenobi arrived to investigate the disappearance of Drumb. Soon after, a team of MI5 agents arrived at the spaceport in Obsidian City to investigate the stash of weapons Jordo Drax was shipping.
