The UNIT Moonbase was a UNIT facility located on the Moon. Liz Shaw was stationed at the facility in 2010. She could not attend the Eleventh Doctor's funeral, as she could not return until the following Sunday. (TV: Death of the Doctor) Liz had helped plan this Moonbase as early as the 1970s.
