The Disreputable Dog is the physical form of Kibeth She was discovered by Lirael in the Clayr's Library in the form of a soapstone statue. Lirael accidently released her when trying to create a dog sending. She became Lirael's companion throughout Lirael and Abhorsen, even helping with the binding of Orannis. She finally saved Lirael by diverting Orannis' power into herself. This greatly aged her, causing her to once again become a statue. However, at the end of Abhorsen, she is walking along the border with Life, showing that she may be able to return.
