A Hybrid Cars Initiative is a policy where the government gives tax incentives to people who buy hybrid vehicles instead of traditional ones, thus encouraging their use. Because hybrid vehicles use electric engines at low speeds and can more efficiently use gasoline at higher speeds, this initiative will reduce the nation's Oil Demand and will be praised by Environmentalists and Motorists alike for helping citizens afford newer and cleaner cars. One downside, however, is that the initiative encourages more people to drive, causing a slight boost in Car Usage.
