Casamance (Dutch: Kaziemagen), officially the Republic of Casamance (Dutch: Republiek Kaziemagen) is a newly-independent country in west Africa. Its current capital is Craimentul, which is also its largest city; the capital city is planned to be moved to the more centrally located Onmoets in the future. Casamance is bordered by Isnagia in the north and Yifara and Guinea to the south. The entire is country is within the basin of the Casamance River.
