Wicked-weaver, 4-6 inch legspan The spiny orb spider Imiutextor strung its thin webs between the branches to ensnare small birds, insects and the occasional Flizard. Wicked Weavers had a fast-acting venom, usually paralyzing their prey within seconds. Their webs were strong, but the larger prey they preffered was sometimes abe to writhe free, tearing away chunks of web and falling to the forest floor, out of the spider's reach. If bittten, the spider's venom quickly subdued prey, minimizing the chance that the hunter might loose its meal.
