Tower of Lost Souls from Soulcalibur IV replaces the Weapon Master mode from Soulcalibur II and the Chronicles of the Sword mode from Soul Calibur III. The goal of the mode is to meet special conditions to reach the top of the tower with treasure chests to collect on each level. Characters can swap out in the middle of battle and it may be possible to perform combination attacks with two characters, but the opponent can switch characters as well. Both custom-created characters and feature characters can be used. Up to 4 floors have to be traversed at once (depending on which floors you've selected) without healing. Also depending on the range of floors selected, 1-3 characters can be used for each floor. After ascending 20 floors you can descend.
