The Rosemary of Harwich is a barge on the hard at Pin Mill. Mother and Bridget walk under her "black shining sides". The stern was just above their heads, and a man sitting on a plank hanging from ropes over the taffrail was busy with bright blue and yellow paints, picking out the carved scroll work about her name. On any ordinary day Mother would have been interested, but she did not seem to notice it as she is looking down river for the Goblin (WD14).
