Mr. Freeze is a tragic major antagonist in Batman: Shadow War. He was a brilliant cryogenecist whose beloved wife, Nora Fries, was stricken with a fatal degenerative disease. After being transformed into a cold-blooded form that must be always kept below zero temperature, at normal room temperature he will die.
