This enemy uses a Laser attack similar to the Magician's Atomic Ray, which can pierce characters. Piercing attacks are a safe way of taking them down. Freeze type weapons make a great alternate against them. It is also highly recommended to take these enemies down before dealing with the large mobs of Grey Shield Bats, as they will just be more annoying.
