The Battle of Kuat, also called the Devastation of the Kuat Drive Yards, was the first battle of the Dark Sith Wars. The battle served as a distraction for the Jedi, and the Jedi involvement in it allowed for the Sith to travel to Coruscant and attack the Jedi Temple. That battle led to the assassination of the Jedi Grand Master.
