The tattered old broom is an item found in the wardrobe in Doris's house during the Evil Dave's Big Day Out quest. It is used to sweep the rug, which produces thoroughly swept rug. The second time the player has to do the chores, the broom breaks into a broken old broom and a replacement tattered old broom can be obtained from the Shopkeeper.
