The Browning M1919A4 is a medium machine gun developed by John Browning in 1919; a year after World War 1. The weapon served the United States Armed Forces during World War 2 and was said to be one of the best machine guns of the war. It was designed to be the first air cooled machine gun designed by Browning; who earlier, designed his machine guns with water cooling barrels. It fires various rounds of ammunition such as the .30-06 Springfield, .303 British, 6.5x55mm, 7.62x51mm NATO, 7.62x54mmR, 7.92x57mm Mauser, 8x63mm Patron M/32, 7.65x53mm Argentine and 7.5x54mm French. The weapon has a 250 round belt which is fed through the machine gun on full automatic fire.
