The Player Phase is when units that are part of the player's group can perform actions, such as move, use an item, etc. This phase occurs first, and is usually followed by the Enemy Phase. In Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance and Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn, the phases come in this order: Player Phase, Ally Phase, Enemy Phase, and Other Phase.
