Sara Ramirez is a Mexican-born actress who has gained considerable fame in the United States thanks to a recurring role on Grey's Anatomy and a Tony-winning turn in the musical Spamalot. She made two guest appearances on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, first as Mrs. Barrera in the episode "Baby Killer" and later as Lisa Perez in the episode "Chameleon".
