The Elegant stubfoot toad (Atelopus elegans), aslo known in Spanish as rana jambato del Pacífico. is a species of toad in the Bufonidae family. It is endemic to northwest Ecuador and on island of Gorgona in Colombia. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, subtropical or tropical moist montane forests, and rivers. It is threatened by habitat loss.
