James Mannerly was a priest of the Cult of Mithras during the Dark Ages. The cult venerated the ancient Methuselah lord of Britain, Mithras. After his Embrace, the (for the standards of his time) young Ventrue allied himself with Mithras and his cult, hoping for a place among the norman rule the ancient vampire enforced. He lead a cell of the cult near Dover, draining the blood of the cultist and practicing as well as enjoying the militaristic outlook on the world the cult enforces.
