Karyl Carlson is the co-author of the 1993 novel Queen Ann in Oz, with her collaborator Eric Gjovaag. Carlson also designs and creates hand-crafted dolls of figures in the Oz books. She distributes her dolls through her website. A native of Oregon, Carlson has been active in Oz fandom.
