Being the children of kamis of Wind (Zaku) and Water (Tsunami), you felt a natural kinship with the storm god. He was like the suave, cool, I-wanna-be-like-that figure in your lives. Then the domain catastrophe happened and your “boss” disappeared in the kind of furious huff that only gods can do. Typhoon, being the oldest, tried to keep everyone’s spirits up during his absence and after your mother’s Fading 150 years ago. He led you through storms and occasional hurricanes, but it never quite filled the void left by Susano.
