Above the town lies a mighty temple within which the secret of Mega Evolution is guarded from the unworthy, only to be granted to those who have proven themselves through the many trials of the gym. When you approach the pillars flanking the entrance, you find Theo waiting near the entrance in a new outfit ready to take on the gym, at which point the acolyte of the Dragon standing at the door reveals that the challenge is customarily undertaken by pairs. Theo remarks how convenient this turned out to be, and confirms that he wants to take on the challenge with you. Once you confirm that you are ready to do so, the acolyte brings you both in to begin the challenge.
