Servus Credit Union (until November 2006 known as Capital City Savings Credit Union) is a member-owned financial institution headquartered in Edmonton and the largest credit union in the province of Alberta. Servus Credit Union traces its roots back to 1938, when the first credit union incorporated in Alberta. Since then, 75 different credit unions have combined to create Servus Credit Union. Today, Servus Credit Union serves more than 193,000 members and 27 Alberta communities spanning the province.
