The Delta-7 starfighter was a triangular starfighter used by the Jedi Order during the Invasion of Utapau. The vessel was an evolutionary descendant of the Aurek starfighter and was surrounded by a hyperspace ring that allowed it to travel long distances. The Jedi used the starfighter during reconnaissance missions, and it was fitted with weapons for situations that called for them. The red color of the starfighter denoted the ship's diplomatic immunity, which was granted by the Republic Judicial Department. The left wing of the fighter also had a cavity in which an R4-series astromech droid could be placed.
