Tobi's been a worker on Baratie's since he was a child. He was born by 2 of the workers on the ship & practically lived in the restaurant. After spending his years befriending all the chefs, he got into cooking. He would also see another kid close to his own age, Sanji, cooking & working at Baratie's. So after seeing a kid his own age working at the restaurant, he decided to persue to work there too. Once he started working, he started training under Sanji, hoping to be as great a chef as him. But one day, Sanji left to pursue his dreams & become a pirate. So naturally, he became interested as well.
