A large rebel force of hundreds of thousands of Sangheili, the Destined Ones were a group which mostly comprised of Sangheili that defied the law of the Sangheili Confederacy in late 2571. They were one of the beligirents of the Sangheili Civil War and destroyed the Sanghelios home fleet. As the war lead on, the Destined Ones were slowly being picked off until the final days of the war. In February 2572, the Destined Council and Serka 'Rolam were killed, ending the war. Without leadership, the remaining Destined soldiers caused disruption, commited suicide or rejoined the Confederacy (under close watch) for about a year. In April 2573, the Destined Ones were officially no more and their memory eventually faded in Sangheili history.
