The May Riots were a series of riots in Landing, capital city of the Mobius System, in May of 1922 PD. They were violently subdued by the Presidential Guard, which had its Scorpion attack vehicles fire into the crowd. However, a number of members of the Mobius Liberation Front were also present and returned fire with modern weapons they had gotten from a mysterious contact, resulting in a number of casualties among the Guardsmen.
