Kermit Bone is Lavender's father, Alannah's husband, & Stephen's brother-in-law. Kermit was killed in an automobile accident prior to the series. Mazrax, an Emoticon who can make people become lost in their despair over the loss of their deceased loved ones, assumes Kermit's form & tricks Lavender & Alannah.
