Daidoji Spies followed on the footsteps of the disbanded Daidoji Harriers, spying and gathering information, training in lessthan-honorable methods. Those experienced Daidoji who exhibited the proper mixture of pragmatism and loyalty, along with the ability to avoid attention, were recruited to be Spymasters.
