The Type 96 Anti-Tank Mine was a Japanese design of dual use: it could be used against tanks or submerged against landing craft. To fulfill this function had an explosive charge more than sufficient to destroy any vehicle he could find. Its working principle was mixed: one was similar to that of naval mines: the two detonators, horn-shaped, contained an electrolyte: the horn to knead the liquid was released, creating a battery that would detonate the mine. Also had a detonator joint pressure in the center. Reportedly, there were different sizes of that mine.
