Ombrol is the vampire who usurped Cid Damodred's lands from him, claiming vengenance for wrongs committed by Cid earlier. While Cid was in his power, Ombrol used a combination of torture, life draining, and psychic reformation to completely destroy Cid's mind and memory, as well as scarring him beyond any hope of healing or recognition. When Cid regained his memory and retired from the Cursebreakers, he and his allies were successful at reclaiming Cid's lands and forcing Ombrol to flee.
