The United Nations Space Command Defence Force (UNSCDF) is the overall unified military force of the United Nations Space Command. It consists of the Army, Navy, Marine Corps, and Air Force. The UNSC has a strong tradition of civilian control of the military. While the Secretary-General is the overall head of the military, the UEG Department of Defence (DoD), a federal executive department, is the principal organ by which military policy is carried out.
