HighBridge publishes audiobooks, audio/radio dramatizations, and spoken word audio on CD and digital downloadable files. It was founded by Minnesota Public Radio and incorporated in 1989. From 1991 to 2007, the Penguin Group USA Inc distributed HighBridge's products. From 2007 to 2014, HighBridge products were distributed by Workman Publishing. In May of 2014, HighBridge was acquired by Recorded Books.
