Hang gliding was a human air sport in which a pilot flew a light and unmotorized foot-launchable aircraft called a hang glider. It was a planetary passion on Sphinx in the Star Kingdom of Manticore. The sport was a passion of Harrington's She started hang-gliding when she was twelve in 1871 PD and she would enjoy the sport whenever she would return to the planet. In 1904 PD, Harrington would go hang-gliding in the Copperwall mountains with Nimitz, while on vacation. (HH3)
