Tarsem Johal was a male Starfleet officer in the 24th century. As of 2374, he was commanding officer of the covert cultural observation outpost on planet Coroticus III. That year, he and his crew were forced to abandon the planet ahead of a Dominion invasion force, and was forced to leave his tactical officer, Lieutenant Saed Squire, behind. He returned to Coroticus in late 2376, after the war, to oversee the restoration of the outpost and to assess the damage done during the Federation's absence.
