The River Ganges is 1,560 miles (2,510 km) long. It has an average discharge of 12,037 m³/s and a drainage area of 907,000 km². It flows into the Brahmaputra, Bay of Bengal. The countries within its drainage basin are: India, Bangladesh, Nepal
